From 2 to 4 June, the thirteenth edition of IFTEX, Africa’s largest floriculture trade fair, brought together 210 exhibitors at the Visa Oshwal Centre in Nairobi. For Blooming Innovations, it was an opportunity to bring its flowers, varieties and vision together at stand F2.02 and connect with florists, buyers and flower professionals from across the globe. 

Blooming Innovations takes home Best Stand Design 

The Blooming Innovations stand was awarded Best Stand Design at IFTEX 2026, recognising the creative and professional presentation of its flowers. The design and styling were created in collaboration with florist Inge Quint of Inge Quint Flower Art, who brought Blooming Innovations Hydrangea, Delphinium and Limonium together in a striking floral presentation. 

The result was a stand designed around the flowers themselves, while giving visitors a clear impression of the quality, variety and possibilities within the Blooming Innovations assortment. 

Flowers grown for quality, all year round 

At the centre of the stand was the Blooming Innovations collection: Hydrangea, Delphinium, and Limonium. Visitors could discover the core Blooming Innovations assortment, including the Hydrangea collection with the in-house bred HydraBloom Pink Progress, four in-house Delphinium varieties and a wide range of Limonium. A new addition to the assortment was presented at IFTEX for the first time: Lily flowers. 

The flowers are grown year-round by sister company Blooming Africa in Kenya. Consistent quality, strong vase life and vibrant colours are key priorities, creating flowers that buyers and florists can rely on throughout the year. 

For Blooming Innovations, IFTEX was therefore about more than displaying flowers. It was about showing what the collection stands for and meeting the people who work with it, source it, and bring it to markets around the world. 

Looking back on IFTEX 2026 

The Best Stand Design Award was one of the highlights of three successful exhibition days. Blooming Innovations had valuable conversations with visitors from different markets, made new connections, and received positive feedback on both the assortment and the stand.

Van 2 tot en met 4 juni bracht de dertiende editie van IFTEX, de grootste vakbeurs voor de Afrikaanse sierteelt, 210 exposanten samen in het Visa Oshwal Centre in Nairobi. Voor Blooming Innovations was het een mooie gelegenheid om bloemen, rassen en visie samen te brengen in stand F2.02 en in contact te komen met bloemisten, inkopers en andere professionals uit de bloemensector van over de hele wereld. 

Blooming Innovations wint Best Stand Design 

De stand van Blooming Innovations werd tijdens IFTEX 2026 bekroond met de Best Stand Design Award. De prijs was een erkenning voor de creatieve en professionele presentatie van de bloemen. Het ontwerp en de styling werden gerealiseerd in samenwerking met bloemist Inge Quint van Inge Quint Flower Art. Zij bracht Hydrangea, Delphinium en Limonium van Blooming Innovations samen in een opvallende bloemrijke presentatie. 

Het resultaat was een stand waarin de bloemen centraal stonden en bezoekers tegelijkertijd een duidelijk beeld kregen van de kwaliteit, variatie en mogelijkheden binnen het assortiment van Blooming Innovations. 

Bloemen van hoge kwaliteit, jaarrond geteeld 

Centraal in de stand stond de collectie van Blooming Innovations: Hydrangea, Delphinium en Limonium. Bezoekers konden het kernassortiment van Blooming Innovations ontdekken, waaronder de Hydrangea-collectie met de in eigen huis veredelde HydraBloom Pink Progress, vier eigen Delphinium-rassen en een breed assortiment Limonium. Tijdens IFTEX werd ook een nieuwe toevoeging aan het assortiment voor het eerst gepresenteerd: Lily. 

De bloemen worden jaarrond geteeld door zusterbedrijf Blooming Africa in Kenia. Constante kwaliteit, een goede houdbaarheid en levendige kleuren staan daarbij centraal. Zo biedt Blooming Innovations bloemen waarop inkopers en bloemisten het hele jaar door kunnen vertrouwen. 

Voor Blooming Innovations draaide IFTEX dan ook om meer dan alleen het presenteren van bloemen. Het was een moment om te laten zien waar de collectie voor staat en kennis te maken met de mensen die met de bloemen werken, ze inkopen en naar markten over de hele wereld brengen. 

Terugblik op IFTEX 2026 

De Best Stand Design Award was een van de hoogtepunten van drie succesvolle beursdagen. Blooming Innovations voerde waardevolle gesprekken met bezoekers uit verschillende markten, legde nieuwe contacten en ontving positieve reacties op zowel het assortiment als de stand.
